Delete your GovtNaukri account
This page explains how to delete your GovtNaukri account (published by [[DEVELOPER_NAME]] on Google Play) and what happens to your data.
Have a subscription? Deleting your account does not stop Google Play billing. Cancel first: open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then GovtNaukri, then Cancel subscription.
Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open GovtNaukri and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. You are signed out and deletion starts straight away.
Option 2: Request deletion on this website
Use this if you no longer have the app or cannot sign in.
- Fill in the form below with the email address on your GovtNaukri account.
- We email that address from [[SUPPORT_EMAIL]] within 2 working days to confirm the request came from you.
- Reply to confirm. We then delete your account and send a final confirmation.
What we delete
Within 30 days of your request (or of confirming it, for web requests), we permanently delete:
- Your account: email, password hash, Google sign-in link
- Your eligibility profile, including date of birth, qualification, category, state, disability and ex-serviceman answers
- Your job matches and eligibility results
- Saved jobs, notification settings, device push tokens and language setting
- Problem reports you sent (the job correction itself may stay, with no link to you)
- Your analytics and crash data in Firebase, which we request Google to delete
What we keep, and for how long

Retained records are not used for any other purpose and are deleted at the end of the period.
